Sharon Prushansky

Piano

Born in Israel in 1987, pianist and organist Sharon Prushansky has been living in Switzerland since 2009.

While her main focus is on the performance practice and repertoire of the Romantic era, she regularly performs on various types of fortepianos, as well as on modern piano and organ. After finishing her BA studies in piano and organ at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv, Sharon studied harpsichord, organ and fortepiano at the Schola Cantorum in Basel with Jesper Christensen, Lorenzo Ghielmi and Edoardo Torbianelli. She has performed as both a soloist and a chamber musician in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Denmark and Israel.
